Shopping Expedition

My shopping expedition was quite productive.

Waterstone’s at the Jervis Centre were having a sale, so I got three books for the price of two (two of which are gifts for Griet: one of them I’m certain she’ll like, but I don’t know if she has it already or not: the other one I’m not sure about but it’s critically acclaimed and I may just well get myself a copy after Christmas), and I also got myself the book that everyone seems to be talking about, The Corrections by Jonathan Franzen. Can’t read it till the new year, of course. I have way too many books in my to-read pile already. And all that studying to do.
