What A Way to Start the Evening
I got home today earlier than expected - I was gonna go to a careers’ seminar but found out who was giving it so I passed - and turned on the TV.
What was the first thing I saw?
Totalitarianism comes to Zimbabwe. I mean, it’s not like things were rosy there anyway - even if it was somewhat exaggerated and distorted by the media - but this is really too much.
But that’s not all:
Holy Cross school dispute reignites tensions and brings nationalist and loyalist mobs on to the streets
Anything I’d have to say about this has already been said, a million times over. I’m only 100 miles from there, and yet it’s a totally different world. It’s a totally different century.
What a way to start the evening, eh?
