Making My Mind Up
I was going to post something about the abortion referendum that we’ll be having here early next month, but to be honest I don’t know anything about it.
Oh yes, I’ve seen all the posters, with the ‘Yes’s and the ‘No’s, but no information. What exactly would I be doing if I tick one box or the other on the voting slip? And really, is this situation simply a matter of ‘yes’ or ‘no’?
I’d like to be able to make an informed decision, not a coerced one. But with stuff like this going on, is it any wonder that I feel bamboozled?
