Last Day At Work
My final shift at the large music store ended around 10pm this evening. The gang got me a card and everything. I’ll miss them - I won’t miss the job, but I’ll miss them.
I am now unemployed, and I feel kinda strange. Probably because it hasn’t sunk in yet. Either that or because I sweated like a pig all day and I badly need a shower.
When I wake up tomorrow morning and realise I’m a free man - and take a shower, of course - I’m sure I’ll feel a whole lot better.
