Merry Christmas
Today was pretty tiring. I slept pretty late; I just couldn’t wake up this morning. I always used to be so excited at Christmas, up at 5am to rush downstairs and stare in awe at all the gifts that Santa left for me by the tree..
We didn’t leave for Killiney until nearly 3pm, didn’t sit down to dinner until after 6pm (by which time I was starving and getting sleeply from lack of energy) and got home sometime after 9pm. It was good seeing everyone out there, but big family events like that do tend to take it out of you. It used to be a lot worse when we were hosting, but still…
Right now I’m still feeling quite groggy. I know it’s late now but I’ve been feeling like this all day. I think I need some toast or something.
