Gizza Job
As of writing this, I’ve just gotten back from the local post office where I mailed a bunch of CVs and covering letters to various bookstores in the city centre, basically begging for employment.
I shouldn’t be coy about it — I need a job, for the summer at least, and I need one bad.
But I’m picky. I’ll never work with food ever again. Multiscreen cinemas are out of the question. Supermarkets and boutiques and department stores are also a no-no. I’ve done my time with the large music store, and I doubt that Tower are hiring anytime soon, what with the closing down and the francising and the mysteriously empty shelves and such.
So (drum roll please) if you happen to be the proprietor of a business in the Dublin area (a bookstore; or a music store; or a library; or hell, even some place where I could catalogue or file stuff all day) and are on the lookout for someone who’s not just an employee — someone who could be a valuable asset for your enterprise — why not take a look at my CV and get in touch?
