Stop Me If You’ve Heard This One Before

Been quiet around here, hasn’t it?

Don’t worry, I’m still alive. I’ve just been preoccupied over the last week or so.

I’m still on a good reading buzz that’s showing no signs of wearing off anytime soon; today, I finished Rich Hall’s demented collection of essays and stories, Things Snowball. Well worth a read, especially for the insanely funny latter pieces.

I’m still making random observations in my trusty notebook and, if you’ve taken the time to notice, adding links to the linklog now and again.

And anyway, so what if I don’t update this weblog every day? Sometimes the well just runs dry. And sometimes I get distracted by more pertinet matters. Like spending my evenings instant messaging with her. I’d choose her over toiling away at the computer to please you lot any day. And hey, wouldn’t you know it, I did!

(As a matter of fact, there’s some new (old) content on the way later this week, germinating as I type this, but that’s neither here nor there.)

So anywho, yes, I’m still breathing. But also really anxious about the interview I’ve got in the morning. This time tomorrow I’ll most likely wonder what I was so worried about, but that doesn’t give me much comfort right now.

Wish me luck.
