Hello, world. I’m MacDara Conroy, and this is my blog.

Film review — Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem

It’s okay. I don’t know why they kept the other brothers’ identities intact but reduced Donnie from an inventive technical wizard to merely someone who uses computers (y’know, like most people in the year 2023) but howandever.

Also, I saw this in an actual cinema — the Odeon in Blanch — where the dad and his two kids sitting in front of us who got up three or four times throughout to (presumably) use the loo did not bother me even close to as much as the family on the other side of the auditorium talking in their outdoor voices, nor the woman in the row behind who thought it was grand to carry out a regular phone conversation in the middle of the film. People blame teenagers for everything but they were the quiet ones. If cinema is dead, blame the parents. ★★★
